A Lisín (lisheen) or Cillín(í) is old unconsecrated burial ground for unbaptised babies or children at the time of death. There are seven that are located in the following areas throughout the parish: Mointeach, Cahergowan, Lydican, Carnmore, Kiltrogue, Kiniska and Waterdale. Each site has been surveyed by an archaeologist and is being recorded for mapping purposes.

All recorded archaeological monuments are protected under the National Monuments Acts 1930-2004. Visitors to monuments on lands in private ownership should request permission from the landowner.
