School Tours

In early 2015 Lackagh Museum came together with the Claregalway Museum and Forge to offer schools tours of both museums as a joint package. The two groups felt that it is wonderful opportunity to bring the local cultural and social history to children. It includes a complimentary guided tour of the Claregalway Franciscan Friary ruins as well as a guided tour of both Museums. Taking around 3 hours to complete depending on group size, it has been a successful half day trip for schools.
